Luxury vinyl plank (LVP): waterproof, warm and quiet underfoot, and forgiving over a slab — a Florida favorite for good reason.
Engineered wood: a real-wood look that handles humidity far better than solid hardwood, which we steer you away from in wet or slab-on-grade areas.
What matters most: flatness and the right underlayment. A mid-priced floor installed right outlasts a premium floor laid over a bad subfloor.

Do I need a permit for new flooring?
In almost all cases, no. Flooring is a finish, not a structural or system change, so it typically doesn't require a permit. If your project also moves walls or plumbing, that part might — and we'd tell you — but the flooring itself usually doesn't.
What flooring holds up best in Florida?
Porcelain tile, luxury vinyl plank, and engineered wood. All three handle our humidity and the occasional spill far better than solid hardwood or bargain laminate, which cup, gap, and swell in a Florida house.
Can you install over my existing floor or slab?
Sometimes. It depends on what's there, whether the slab is flat, and the moisture reading. We check before we promise — often the right move is to tear out and prep so the new floor doesn't fail.
Why is my tile cracking or my planks lifting?
Almost always the subfloor, not the product — a slab that wasn't flat, a missing expansion gap, or the wrong underlayment. We fix the cause when we install so it doesn't happen again.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move furniture, protect what stays, contain the dust, and work room by room so you're not living out of boxes any longer than necessary.
How long does a flooring job take?
Most homes are a matter of days, depending on square footage, tear-out, and how much subfloor prep the slab needs. We'll give you a real timeline with the quote.
