Cabinets: plywood boxes, not particle board. They survive a dishwasher leak and hold screws for heavy, full-extension drawers. Painted or stained shaker doors are the workhorse, and soft-close is standard.
Countertops: quartz is the low-maintenance pick for Florida — non-porous, no sealing, and it shrugs off knives and hot pans. Granite and butcher block are on the table if that's your look; we'll tell you what upkeep each one really needs.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Most full kitchens run a few weeks once we start, depending on size and whether we're moving walls or plumbing. You get a written schedule, and we don't start demolition until your cabinets and counters are on site so the job doesn't stall waiting on a backordered shipment.
Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?
Partly. There's a stretch with no working sink or stove. We help you set up a temporary kitchen with the fridge, a microwave, and coffee, and we sequence the work to keep that window as short as possible.
Do I need a permit, and do you pull it?
If we move plumbing, gas, or electrical, or change the footprint, yes — and we pull it and schedule the inspections in Pasco, Hillsborough, or Pinellas. A like-for-like cosmetic refresh often doesn't need one. We'll tell you honestly which yours is.
Do you supply the cabinets and countertops?
Yes. We're not locked to one brand, so we spec cabinets and counters that fit your budget and style. If you've already chosen a specific line, we can usually work with it.
Can you reface my cabinets instead of replacing them?
If your cabinet boxes are solid, refacing with new doors, drawer fronts, and veneer is a real money-saver. If the boxes are particle board and sagging, replacing is the smarter spend. We'll give you a straight recommendation either way.
